These are messages for sinners – people who have messed things up, damaged themselves and others, and endure guilt and shame. There is hope, and he will help you find it.

The Problem
Sin separates a person from God. It causes a breach, or divide, between the sinner and the Creator. Sin also condemns. There really isn’t anything good about sin. It’s always bad, always wrong, and always deadly.

Consequences
People tend to avoid sin’s consequences. They really don’t want to think about them. We don’t like concepts like condemnation, or “lost”, or hell! These ideas don’t just get bad press, a lot of people refuse to believe bad consequences exist. But the truth is, sin has awful consequences. That’s the bad news.

Powerless
Bad news gets worse. Sinners are powerless to resolve the problem of sin. They don’t deserve resolution, and they can’t earn it. They are dead in their sins. Helpless!

Jesus
But there is hope. “Gospel” means “good news,” and it’s news specifically for sinners. The amazing message of the Bible is that God saves sinners. It doesn’t matter what the sin is. Jesus gave his life as a sacrifice by which God forgives the sins in our lives.

Bill's message:
Jesus saves sinners. He will save you! You can’t be too bad. He will save you, and then help you to live a redeemed life. That’s really good news!
